The sun is actually making an appearance intermittently today, and the high is around 76 degrees. WOOHOO! I pulled out the big guns today: linen, short sleeves, AND sandals.
I am wearing old favorites. The tank and linen crop pants are both from J.Jill purchased a couple of years ago. The cream knit cropped jacket is a me-made item. I drafted this top using this cropped cardigan I handknit last year as a base.
I added split hem bands to the sleeves and a banded collar. It is a good layer over sleeveless tops and dresses in warm weather since I hate to bare my upper arms 🙂
My sandals are a Japanese brand Akaishi, and they are SUPER comfortable! They have a contoured wooden sole with rubber bottoms, so they are not loud at all. The leather is supple and soft, and they are adjustable so you can get a perfect fit across your instep. I got them from Zulily (no longer available) last year for a steal.
I forgot to put most of my jewelry on this morning (running late for work), but I did grab this silk tassel necklace I got on sale (also from J.Jill) when I was doing the Fall Challenge with Alison Lumbatis from her blog Get Your Pretty On.
Tomorrow has a chance of rain and the next day back to cool temps, but I plan on enjoying this little warm up as long as I can!
